This month we’d like to introduce you to Wicks Emmett Partner, Brian Menefee. Brian is a Montana native who earned a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Montana State University. Brian was a member of the Montana State University graduating class which earned the distinction of having the highest student CPA exam pass rate in the country!
Brian joined the Wicks Emmett team in July of 2010 from a satellite office located in Klamath Falls, Oregon. When founding partner David Emmett announced his retirement in 2014, Brian was asked to join the firm in Roseburg to serve Dave’s clients – and did so while also transitioning his existing clients to Roseburg.
Brian has experience from business startup to retirement transitions. His areas of practice include tax preparation services, tax planning, entity structuring and business purchase and sale involving complex issues.
Brian enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle and has organized week-long group bicycling trips in Oregon, California, and Montana for many years. He was also an active youth sports coach in basketball and soccer.
Brian and his wife are raising their grandson and enjoying the areas’ many diverse activities, especially camping and hiking.
