When people describe Jim Treanor-Weaver as a “creative accountant,” they are referring to his prodigious artistic pursuits. An accomplished potter and sculptor, Jim also likes to take on major renovation and landscaping projects at his home.

He is just as talented with his left-brain activities in the office, spending much of his time on consulting services in the medical and construction fields. His work includes business planning, establishing budgets and helping fine-tune company operations.

Jim grew up in Winston and Tenmile, and graduated from the University of Oregon. His strong business background is due to the eight years he spent with a regional CPA firm, followed by six years in private industry as a controller and CFO. He joined the firm in 2003.

Jim enjoys using his strong analytical skills to solve operational challenges for his clients. “I like drilling down to the root of issues,” he says.

He and his wife, Krisy, are ardent supporters of “practically every charity auction in town,” and he frequently donates his services to nonprofit organizations. Jim also serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Club. Besides his artistic pursuits, Jim has been honing his brew-master skills for almost 20 years. “If you can boil water, you can make beer,” he says.
